Entry Requirements & Application

Entry Requirements:

UK: 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (must include English and Maths) 

International: High school certificate from your country of residence and an academic transcript (with marks for years 11 and 12)

All applicants must be 18 years or older by the start of the course 


English language: Non-native English speakers are required to have an IELTS average of 6.5 or higher


How to Apply:

Applicants are required to complete the three stage application process:

Stage 1 – Online Application Form

Assesses an applicant’s potential to benefit from the course. Each applicant is asked to provide information about themselves including their personal details, education history and any relevant work experience. Applicants will also be asked to write a 500 word personal statement describing their academic interests and reasons for applying to the Condé Nast College.

Stage 2 – The College Challenge

This is a short assignment that can either be in either written or video format. You will complete the College Challenge once you have submitted your application form. (Please check your email for the instructions, or the visit College Challenge page on our website)

Stage 3 – The interview    

Applicants who have successfully completed the first two stages of the application process will be invited for an interview (either in person or via Skype for international students) by email after their application has been submitted. The interview typically lasts 20 minutes aims to assess your suitability for the course. It is paramount that you use this opportunity to show imagination, creative thinking and professional ambitions. Above all, the interview is for you to show that you can communicate your ideas and thoughts about fashion in three ways – visually, verbally and in writing. The College is looking for students that will actively contribute to the course and take an original approach to their work.

Soon after the interview, we will write to inform you of the status of your application. If you are offered a place, you must confirm (in writing) that you wish to accept our offer. We will then send you the invoice for your tuition fee, and you must pay a non-refundable deposit of £1200 to secure your place on the course.
