During his talk with the students, who he referred to as his colleagues, reinforcing Condé Nast’s intention to be partners in our student’s education and futures, Blau spoke passionately about how the company has influenced the industry on the environmental impact agenda – not by shouting but by bringing organisations we work with together, in order to take distinct actions.
Using Power for Purpose
Blau also highlighted that the combined power of the Condé Nast brands have the ability to reach more than 1 billion people worldwide, adding weight to the importance of using our products to initiate change for the better across the industry.
During his talk, Blau also shed light on the digital approaches being implemented across the company and how print and digital platforms require coordination in these times of the voracious consumer’s yearning for daily content.
The C.O.O’s address ended on a high as the truly global nature of the company was highlighted, particularly emphasising the importance of locality and how this affects the nuances of each country’s editorial offering.
