The incredible inner workings of the global jewellery industry were brought to life at the Condé Nast College today thanks to the unparalleled insight of Vogue’s Jewellery Editor Carol Woolton. Supported by sumptuous images from her recently published book Vogue, The Jewellery Carol entertained and enthralled the students in equal measure with stories of everything from rotting lobsters on still life shoots to the new frontiers of high-tech jewellery being developed by young pioneering designers. Asked at the end how much jewellery she has in her own jewellery box, her answer was – of course – “never enough”. Touché!
