British Vogue’s Dena Giannini joins the Vogue Teen Weekend Online Event

We are thrilled to be joined by Dena Giannini, Style Director for British Vogue, for the Vogue Teen Weekend Online Event. 

 

During the Vogue Teen Weekend Online Event, Dena will be talking about how the Vogue Fashion Teams have been creative and resourceful and adapted to creating content under challenging lockdown restrictions, as well as shedding light on her busy role as Style Director.    

 

As part of her role, Dena works across every issue from covers and fashion stories to the monthly technology pages. 

 

An American residing in London since 2017, Dena has advised luxury brands around the world and has styled a diverse range of talent from Lizzo to Charlize Theron and Elle Fanning to Renee Zellweger and Awkwafina and models such as Naomi Campbell, Karlie Kloss, Halima Aden, Hailey Beiber, Joan Smalls, Kate Moss, Irina Shayk, and Jourdan Dunn. 

 

An advocate for the representation of all types of women, she is passionate about traceability, innovation in sustainability, and connecting the dots within the fashion industry to support a more responsible future. 

 

Dena graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Visual Journalism and Art. She started her career in fashion during university with an internship at Teen Vogue and has worked with various Conde Nast titles throughout her career including Vogue, W, and Glamour, moving to London with her longtime boss and mentor Edward Enninful when he took over at the helm of British Vogue. When it comes to fashion, Dena is a strong believer in investing in well-made items that stand the test of time, the highest level of craftsmanship, the art of accessorising, individuality, and always style over trends.
