A visit from Dame Natalie Massenet

Fashion royalty descended upon the Condé Nast College today in the diminutive shape of Dame Natalie Massenet, Chairman of the British Fashion Council and legendary founder of ecommerce giant Net-A-Porter. Suitably chicly attired in a new season Burberry military jacket Massenet charmed and inspired the students in equal measure and left little doubt – based on her extensive advice and wise words – as to why she is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. Pushed for details of her next top-secret venture she would only reveal that “it’s not something that exists at the moment but it’s definitely something that people will want.” We may not be much the wiser on that particular front but her parting shot was to give the students her email address so that they could apply to work for her once the project is formally announced. As we so often say, only at the Condé Nast College!
