Sarah Bailey is a Senior Lecturer and a Visual Merchandising Consultant; she has more than twenty years industry experience working for global blue chip fashion and interior retailers such as Debenhams, Charlotte Tilbury, Harrods, Chalhoub, Adidas, and Fenwick. Her freelance consultancy work has taken her to many international retail markets; launching fashion and interior brands into new market territories, coordinating and designing new retail store openings from concept to completion. Before setting up a freelance VM consultancy business, Sarah spent seven years as a Course Director at London College of Fashion leading the BA Fashion Visual Merchandising & Branding course, where she developed her specialism in live industry projects. She is an author of ‘Visual Merchandising for Fashion’ published by Bloomsbury Press and is currently writing the 2nd Edition. Sarah has a Masters Degree in Academic Practice in Art and Design, is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the British Display Society. She has been featured in The Financial Times, Vogue, Drapers Record and on the BBC.
