About Veronique Gabai
Veronique Gabai is an experienced entrepreneur and globally recognised brand builder, who combines creative thinking and business acumen with a broad understanding of consumers, brands, and business models.
Veronique is the founder and CEO of her own luxury fragrance-led jewellery, body, and beauty brand ‘Veronique Gabai’ which she launched in 2019. She has worked at the world’s biggest beauty brands, as well as overseeing the launches of cult scents like DKNY’s Be Delicious and Guerlain’s iconic Aqua Allegoria.
Where it all started for Veronique
Veronique started her career at L’Oréal, rising to Vice President of Marketing for Giorgio Armani, where she developed the fragrance business. She then became Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Guerlain, part of LVMH, and then went on to be Executive Vice President and General Manager for Fine Fragrance North America, for Symrise.
Veronique joined Estée Lauder as Global President for Aramis and Designers Fragrances, and the Beauty Bank and Idea Bank. Over 12 years she developed beauty and skincare brands, including Lab Series for Men. She grew fragrance divisions including Donna Karan and Michael Kors; and Tory Burch, Zegna and Marni under license, and oversaw acquisitions of brands like Le Labo.
She went on to be President of the Vera Wang Group, where she grew the bridal category around the world, transformed the business model of the ready-to-wear division, and developed successful new partnerships in jewellery.
She left Vera Wang in 2018 to launch her own eponymous brand Veronique Gabai .
Veronique serves on the board of Interparfums and the board of Lycee Francais de NY. She is a member of The Committee of 200, Fashion Group International and Cosmetic Executive Women.
