Sarah Bailey
Visiting Lecturer
Sarah Bailey is a senior lecturer and a visual merchandising consultant. She has more than 20 years industry experience working for global blue-chip fashion and interior retailers such as Debenhams, Charlotte Tilbury, Harrods, the Chalhoub Group, Adidas and Fenwick. Her freelance consultancy work has taken her all over the world, launching fashion and interiors brands into new markets, and coordinating and designing new store openings from concept to completion.
Before setting up a freelance VM consultancy business, Sarah spent seven years as a course director at the London College of Fashion, leading the BA Fashion Visual Merchandising and Branding course, where she developed her specialism in live industry projects. She is an author of Visual Merchandising for Fashion (Bloomsbury Press).
Sarah has a Masters Degree in Academic Practice in Art and Design, is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the British Display Society. She has been featured in The Financial Times, Vogue, Drapers Record and on the BBC.
