The students were completely entranced by Giles Deacon on his visit to the College this morning – his inspiring talk spanned everything from the serious business of fashion and what it means to be at the helm of his own extraordinary design studio to a wonderful series of amusing anecdotes that include sewing Linda Evangelista into a corset so challenging that she was pretty much unable to speak/breathe at one particular night’s dinner destination.
