What made you choose CNC?

I wanted to pursue a career in fashion and knew that Conde Nast College Fashion and Design would fast track my career. I also liked the campus and the course had everything I needed.

 

What specific feature did you like most about Vogue Fashion Certificate course?

The Vogue Fashion Certificate course rounded up my education in the most invaluable way. The fast paced, intensely exhilarating, atmosphere and mentors made this course live up to its expectations of prestige and honour of Conde Nast the brand.

Describe briefly a company project you did?

I did my brand report on Manolo Blahnik. I enjoyed this project as I got to showcase many InDesign elements I learnt. It also allowed creative freedom with regards to my own quirky twist.

What are three benefits of doing Vogue Fashion Certificate with CNC?

Focused on detail, learnt how to use Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and lastly connections made with fellow classmates and mentors.

What, specifically, have you been able to achieve through our program?

Through the Vogue Fashion Certificate, I got to achieve a specific focus on detail. Detail is extremely vital when pursuing a career in fashion. I simultaneously got the opportunity to learn vital skills around Adobe Indesign and Photoshop. The combination of both are a recipe for success within the fashion world and Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design teach these skills to the highest degree of standard.

What are the three most significant improvements you’ve seen since you started studying with CNC?

Attention to detail, attention to time and attention to self-representation.

What have you discovered about yourself since being at the college?

At my time at the college, I discovered what role in the industry I wanted to pursue. I definitely came out of the course with a clearer vision of where I would like to be in life.

What was the most challenging for you in the course?

The most challenging parts of the course to me were learning to navigate some parts of photoshop.

How has the college prepared you for industry?

The college has prepared me for the industry in many ways. I have learnt to always ask if unsure, to be patient with myself and to trust my instincts to get to where I would like to be. The college has given me invaluable life skills to succeed within the industry.

Would you recommend CNC courses? If so, why?

Yes, I would highly recommend this course. This course has been the most valuable aspect of my educational studies. I have learnt more in 10 weeks than of what I learnt in a year of my post graduate.

Your favourite moment at the college?

My favourite time was bonding with the class, laughing with teammates and coming up with strategies for our projects.
