Bay Garnett, stylist & queen of thrift store shopping

Bay Garnett, Contributing Fashion Editor at British Vogue and queen of second-hand shopping, spoke to the students this morning about her career in the fashion industry, which has been defined by various eras and narrative strands. Bay discussed everything from her anarchist youth to her experience working with a diverse group of photographers such as Bruce Weber, Tim Walker, Nick Knight and Juergen Teller. Bay is organising and producing the Oxfam Fashion Show and tasked the students with scouring Oxfam shops to help her put special pieces together for the show.
