Do you want to understand the principles of how to creatively direct a brand or a concept from the initial idea to a tangible outcome?

This is an intensive five-day programme designed to introduce students to the skills required for a successful career in creative direction in fashion & fashion media.

During this introductory course, you will work on your own creative direction project that you will present to others on the last day of the course.

In order to do this, you will learn how to use cultural insights to come up with a vision for a creative concept. You will also learn how to turn your vision into a visual identity using core branding principles as well as distinctive outcomes that meet new or emerging audience demands. A key to being a good creative director is the ability to communicate your ideas in a persuasive manner to others which you will also explore as part of the course.

I absolutely loved 5 Days of Creative Direction course. I met some of the most amazing, supportive and kind hearted people I have ever met. All of the teachers and industry professionals were wonderful and cared so much for us and our work. I had the best experience and learned so much about myself and the industry. It gave me so much more confidence in myself as a creative that I didn’t have before. I look forward to my upcoming Vogue Summer School: Fashion Business course in July with Condé Nast College. The Campus

Condé Nast College is situated in a historic building at Bedford Square, in Central London.

The area was built between 1775 and 1783 and is one of the best preserved set pieces of Georgian architecture in London.

The square has had many illustrious residents including Lord Eldon, one of Britain’s longest-serving and most celebrated Lord Chancellors, who lived in the largest house in the square for many years. Other famous residents include the second Duke of Devonshire; William Butterfield, an architect; and H H Asquith, a former Prime Minister.

The square takes its name from the main title of the Russell family, the Dukes of Bedford, who owned much of the land in what is now Bloomsbury.

Bedford Square is in the heart of Bloomsbury, an exciting area for academia and the arts; originally made famous by Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury Set.

The College is a short walk from the headquarters of Condé Nast, as well as Vogue House, which our students visit as part of their exposure to the professional world.
