MA Entrepreneurship: Fashion & Creative Industries
The MA Entrepreneurship at Condé Nast College provides a unique learning experience for students, introducing entrepreneurship and business thinking specific to fashion and the creative industries.
The programme offers students from varied backgrounds and disciplines the opportunity to be introduced to subjects such as branding, marketing strategy, business theory and practice, and business planning at postgraduate level, utilising and honing existing transferable skills, whilst also developing valuable knowledge of business activity and environments in the creative industries sector.
The course is for those keen to develop their own business ideas with a view to launching their own ventures in the future. It will draw upon the expertise of Condé Nast International and its wider network of industry partners in fashion and the creative industries to provide ‘insider’ knowledge on the future of the fashion, media and luxury sectors in particular.
The course combines independent research with taught academic content, alongside talks and master-classes from leading industry professionals. Support will be provided to develop and enhance professional creative communication skills and facilitate the exchange of ideas.
The Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design has a strong focus on preparation for industry and the course will explore distinct opportunities for business start-ups, as well as the application of entrepreneurial skills within existing organisations in the creative industries sector.
The MA Entrepreneurship: Fashion and Creative Industries is suitable for students from a range of different backgrounds that wish to launch their own businesses in the future. It is expected that applicants will have a general idea for a business concept they would like to develop during the course. All fashion and creative industries business ideas are welcomed, from fashion, accessories or beauty brands or retail concepts, through to apps, creative agencies or business services.
